€ 10,000 donations will be divided into 5 regional organizations:
€ 7,500 for the Foundation Johanneum
€ 1,000 for the municipal music school Chemnitz,
€ 500 for the CPSV e.V.
€ 500 for the BSC Rapid Kappel Chemnitz e.V.
€ 500 for the SEG Oelsnitz e.V.

In 2012, the Foundation will be Johanneum (http://www.stiftungjohanneum.de) recipient of the data collected by the Chemnitz Marathon donations. It is committed to socially disadvantaged children and youth. Especially in the Chemnitz district Sonneberg great work being done here. Specifically, the project “Johanneum Academy” should be encouraged. This academy is an independent project which is aimed with their support and demand idea directly to disadvantaged youths from Chemnitz. The “autumn campaign,” with the theme “Science and Technology” held in October, during the period of school holidays.
In close cooperation with the Technical University of Chemnitz and Chemnitz Marathon repeatedly to Chemnitz youth motivation, desire and sense education are taught.
